從洪明露作品裡可以到創作對他而言是具有手作特質的,積累與堆疊的創造過程,在結構性的木造建築和仿石質的墓座中都能見到工藝性的質感,這也是他與林彥甫不同的地方,他並非選用真實物件,而是以各種材料建構出一個模仿的物體,即便它外觀不是傳統的形象,或者形式上被拆解過,如此的表現形式也能從他的平面作品看出端倪。
將傳統墓座解構和幾何化以及高度專注且精準的平塗方式,是他平面作品中常見的表現形式,作品《相對論 》以立體裝置的方式重塑了平面作品裡的表現形式,墓園變成了一塊塊的幾何結構,隨意地被放置於展場,在這些物件中,觀者可以看見墓碑在微弱的光線下被整齊地豎立著,並從互動的裝置中看見自己的影像被顯現在墓碑上,讓觀者直面自己死亡的意象,也回應了他平面作品裡的生死命題,如同他所述的「生命盡頭是人生的出口也是入口」。

Hung's works reveal that a handcrafted process of accumulation and layering is crucial to his art practice. This can be seen in his structural wooden constructions and faux-stone tombstones, which exhibit a tactile, artisanal quality. Hung constructs imitative objects from various materials, even if their appearance is non-traditional or deconstructed. This expressive style is also evident in his two-dimensional works.
A common motif in Hung's two-dimensional practice is the precise deconstruction and geometrization of traditional tombstones using flat painting techniques. In Theory of Relativity, he transforms his two-dimensional style into a three-dimensional installation. Here, a cemetery becomes a series of geometric structures, haphazardly placed in the exhibition space. Under soft lighting, viewers see their reflections on the tombstones, confronting their own mortality and echoing the themes of life and death present in his paintings. "The end of life is both an exit and an entrance," Hung states.

作品《祝你平安賺大錢 》有四個物件——廟和神轎、動漫玩具、掃地機器人。神轎和廟有一樣的工藝的手作質感,外觀造形不是典型的台灣廟宇,也沒有華麗的雕刻裝飾,更多的是保留了手作粗糙的未完成感,這似乎也延續了他平面作品裡簡化的特質。作品中的掃地機器人是一個主動性的物件,不必倚靠外力就有清潔與移動的功能,整件作品的組合與行徑過程,就像是將機器人的清掃過程比擬為遶境儀式的除穢與祈福的趨吉避凶,遶境最核心的神明出巡則是來自於神轎裡的「尤達大師」,他也成為了四個物件之間形象與指摽的串連,這是他對民俗文化的認知轉化。

His work May You Be Safe and Prosperous features four elements: a temple, a palanquin, a robot vacuum and action figures. The temple and palanquin share the same handcrafted quality, with a raw, unfinished look that diverges from the ornate aesthetics of conventional Taiwanese temples. This unfinished, minimal style is consistent with the "reductive" nature of his two-dimensional works. As for the robot vacuum, it is an autonomous object that cleans and moves independently, symbolizing a ritualistic cleansing and blessing procession. At the center of this procession is the deity "Master Yoda" placed in the palanquin, acting as a conduit that links the four elements together. This connection of imagery and symbolism reflects Hung's reinterpretation of folk culture.

《10元的天堂》就顯得有些惡趣味,沒有燈光的刻意投射,也沒有其他物件的呼應,一枚10元硬幣就這樣安安靜靜地被擺放於展間的地上。洪明露在創作論述中曾提到這是他生活中發生過的有趣經驗,他認為10元似乎是一個讓人猶豫要不要撿起的分水嶺,10元以下金額太少無法引起興趣,50元則會不需考慮的撿起。這件作品之所以被我稱之為惡趣味,則是在於他想關注的是觀眾在看到地上10元的反應與疑問,問題是作品除了一枚單薄的10元以外並無它物,沒有隱蔽的側錄和錄像的播出,也沒有提出任何明確的觀查機制,從擺放的隨意至觀察的隨意,一切都顯得非常隨性毫無計畫,我們看不見他想紀錄的過程和訴求,彷彿所有的發生與關注都只存在於偶然地瞥視下。甚至我猜想是否會有觀眾在閱讀這段文字後才確定了這枚10元硬幣是單一存在的一件作品,又或者循著作品清冊回頭至展場裡尋找這枚10元硬幣身影?

10NT Paradise has a somewhat mischievous nature. Without deliberate lighting or accompanying objects, a NT$10 coin is quietly placed on the exhibition floor. Hung mentioned in his creative discussion that this piece reflects an interesting personal experience: he believes that NT$10 is a threshold amount that causes hesitation—amounts less than NT$10 are too insignificant to attract interest, while NT$50 would be picked up without hesitation. I describe this work as mischievous because it focuses on the audience's reaction and curiosity upon seeing the NT$10 coin on the ground. However, the problem lies in the fact that the piece consists solely of this single coin, with no hidden cameras, video broadcasts, or any type of observation mechanisms. The randomness in its placement and the casual nature of observation makes the process appear unplanned and arbitrary. We cannot see any attempt to document reactions or intentions, making it seem as if everything hinges on the chance moment of a viewer's glance. I even wonder if some viewers might only realize that the NT$10 coin is a standalone artwork after reading this description, or if they might refer to the exhibition catalog and then return to the venue to search for the coin's presence.
